Hello

I have lived in Arizona off and on for more than 20 years, working as a paramedic, until I obtained my Massage Therapy license in 2021. I am trained and certified in multiple modalities to include Thai Bodywork, Lymphatic drainage, Reflexology, Ashiatsu, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Cupping, and Gua Sha.

 

Where my passion for bodywork comes from.

     I have lived with chronic pain my entire life due to a injury from birth, following an accident at work I developed new issues and my chronic condition was aggravated. After months of physical therapy, medications, and steroid injections that had failed to address my pain I was encouraged by a friend to try massage. Initially I was skeptical but was quickly won over when I was able to experience relief for the first time since my accident. Not only did it help with my new injury but after a few sessions I also saw improvement with my chronic issues.

 

Why I switched careers.

     A few years after discovering massage to manage my chronic pain, I started to experience chronic health issues that were exacerbated by my highly stressful job, a career change was in order.  The obvious first choice for me was massage therapy. I have always had a passion for helping others, and had become discouraged in my previous career after seeing the gaps in our health system that left many people, myself included, struggling to find answers for their chronic condition; usually disappointed with the limited treatments covered by insurance. I was able to find solutions through alternative therapies and am fortunate to be able to offer some of these therapies now and help people on their wellness journey discover the many benefits of bodywork.
